  <description>The number of students attending Norman Public Schools is up slightly this year. The preliminary headcount is up a net of 96 students to give the district 12,692 pupils. The elementary enrollment is where most of the growth came with a net gain of 135 students. High schools had a drop of 71 students and middle schools gained 35.</description>
