When Mike Gundy looks at the Big 12 Conference standings and sees his Oklahoma State football team sitting toward the bottom with a 0-1 record, he's not fretting.
After all, there are only two teams (Kansas State and West Virginia) that are unbeaten in conference play after just two weeks. It appears there will be plenty of parity in the Big 12 Conference this year and Oklahoma State — with only a loss to then ranked No. 10 Texas — has no reason to worry just yet.
"We think that there's a one-loss team that could win — and maybe a two-loss team could win this league based on what's out there," Gundy said. "I don't think anybody knows. I think that West Virginia and Kansas State have certainly set themselves up early, but its really early and there's a lot of football left out there — a lot of factors can play into that. ... So that provides for an exciting two months coming up."
