NORMAN — Murder and arson charges were filed today in Cleveland County District Court against Christopher Cody King and Mary Courtney York in the shooting death of Patrick D. Burton. Norman Police Department investigators tracked the suspects when they reportedly tried to use the victims credit cards at a local casino.
King and York were also caught on video surveillance from an Oklahoma City hotel which showed them in possession of the victim’s missing pickup at approximately 11:30 Feb. 13, according to the probable cause affidavit.
York allegedly has an online escort service. According to the affadavit, York’s cell phone records indicate she was the last person the victim communicated with on his cell phone.
