WACO, Texas — The only thing missing from Oklahoma’s postseason audition tape was a big road victory. It can remove that from the list after Wednesday night’s 74-71 victory over Baylor at the Ferrell Center.
Amath M’Baye scored a season-high 20 points and Steven Pledger also had his best night of the season with 19 to help the Sooners improve to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in the Big 12 Conference.
Pierre Jackson scored 20 points and Isaiah Austin added 19 for the Bears (14-6, 5-2 Big 12).
The victory moved the Sooners into a tie with the Bears and Kansas State for second place in the league.
