NORMAN — If Oklahoma was emotionally spent following its victory over Kansas, it wasn’t noticeable Monday night. The Sooners rolled to a 75-48 victory over TCU at Lloyd Noble Center.
The victory lifted OU to 16-7 overall and 7-4 in Big 12 Conference play. TCU sank to 10-14 and 1-10.
Any chance of an OU letdown ended quickly. The Horned Frogs were held scoreless for the first 8 minutes and without a field goal for the first 11.
The Sooners lead 36-11 at halftime, as TCU set a new program record for first-half futility.
Amath M’Baye lead the Sooners with 12 points. Romero Osby finished with 11. OU shot 50 percent from the field (29 of 58) and was a perfect 14 for 14 from the free-throw line.
Devonta Abron led TCU, which shot 30.2 percent (16 for 53) from the field, with 12 points.
