Thunder at 4 p.m.: Durant named player of week

NORMAN — One day after earning his first career triple-double, Kevin Durant was named Western Conference Players of the Week.

Durant helped guide the Thunder to a 3-1 week by averaging a Western Conference-best 28.0 points and a team-high 10.3 rebounds.

Durant added 5.8 assists, 1.75 steals and 1.75 blocks per game. He capped off his week by posting  25 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists in the Thunder’s 119-109 win over the Golden State Warriors Sunday.

The Miami Heat's LeBron James earned the award in the Eastern Conference.
