Judy J. Hatfield, CCIM, of Norman, was recently elected to the board of directors of CCIM Institute, the governing body of the largest commercial real estate broker network in the world.
Hatfield was one of 16 Certified Commercial Investment Members elected April 11 to the board, which is comprised of 48 elected directors, appointed officers and past institute presidents. She will serve a three-year term starting in October.
Hatfield is principal of Equity Commercial Realty LLC.
The computing coordinator for the University of Oklahoma School of Meteorology, Mark Laufersweiler, received the 2008 Russell L. DeSouza Award from the Unidata Users Committee. Unidata, a national community of more than 160 institutions vested in the common goal of sharing data and the tools to access the data, honored Laufersweiler for outstanding community service.
Laufersweiler was recognized in a letter from committee chair Gary Lackmann for actively encouraging OU student involvement in Unidata activities, including student attendance at Unidata user, training and regional workshops.
Crowe -- Dunlevy, with offices in Oklahoma City, Norman and Tulsa, recently announced attorneys Adam W. Childers, Chris J. Kirt, David M. Sullivan and Christopher B. Woods have been named directors of the firm effective March 25. All four are graduates of the OU College of Law. In addition, Childers is a graduate of Leadership Norman.
The Norman Express Employment Professionals office announces the addition of two new employees.
Jennifer DeLoera comes to Express as a staffing consultant. In this position, she will assist associates in the job application process and help clients with their staffing needs.

Dr. John Sparks of Sparks Clinic recently attended a 12 hour lecture on the lower extremities sponsored by Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas.?It is part of a 120 hour program with a designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician. He has completed 60 hours.
