Boon for

AGA in OKC

The AGA Oklahoma City Chapter received the Chapter Certified Government Financial Manager Award from the Association of Government Accountants on July 16. The award is in recognition of the significant and continuous commitment by the Oklahoma City Chapter and the leadership of its chair, Riley Shaull, CGFM, CPA, of Norman, for the chapter’s high-priority focus on the CGFM certification. By spotlighting the designation and bringing the classes to Oklahoma, the chapter has increased the value of the certification and provided a pathway to obtain it.

The award was formally established to recognize AGA chapters that have done an outstanding job in promoting the CGFM program and its members, other accountability professionals and their community. Receipt of the award reflects that a chapter is willing to and has dedicated significant time and resources to further the recognition and integrity of the CGFM Program.
