NORMAN — BancFirst food drive
BancFirst has agreed to serve as a donation site for the “Feeding Oklahoma” food drive sponsored by Gov. Mary Fallin this year. The goal is to collect one million meals.
Oklahomans are asked to donate non-perishable food items to the “Feeding Oklahoma” food drive that kicked off Oct. 15 and ends Nov. 15. Needed items include canned meats, canned fruits, canned vegetables, canned beans and peanut butter.
The food drive was launched in partnership with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.
The food will remain in the county and serve the needy in Norman and surrounding communities.
Every $1 donated provides five meals to Oklahomans.
