NORMAN — Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt Wednesday announced Chris S. Thrutchley as director of the AG’s Office of Civil Rights Enforcement. Thrutchley will be based in Tulsa.
Thrutchley has advised and trained employers in equal employment matters since 1993. He has partnered with employers to develop, implement and audit best employment practices, and has been an author and speaker on employment law and human resources subjects.
Thrutchley is a former HR director with responsibility for more than 3,250 employees. He has served as chairman of the OBA Labor and Employment Law Section, vice president of Legal and Legislative Affairs for the Tulsa Area HR Association and vice president of Programs for the Tulsa EEO Coordinators' Association.
The OCRE investigates, conciliates and files civil enforcement actions in response to complaints of discrimination that violate anti-discrimination statutes.
