NORMAN — Four Norman residents are serving on the board of Leadership Oklahoma.
Norman residents serving include Neil Schemmer, secretary, treasurer and chair of the finance committee; Xavier Neira, chair of the youth program committee; and board members, Carolyn Cummins and Katie Kimberling
Bruce Benbrook, chairman and president of The Stock Exchange Bank of Woodward, is leading the statewide organization this year.
Leadership Oklahoma is entering its 28th year as a statewide leadership development program designed to identify, educate and challenge the leaders of our state. This program has had a positive impact on the entire state with the number of program graduates now approximately 1,400, representing communities from Idabel to Guymon and Altus to Miami.
The board of directors is representative of that membership and has the energy and vision to continue the goal of creating a dynamic network of leaders to shape Oklahoma’s future and to fulfill Leadership Oklahoma’s vision of Oklahoma leaders making Oklahoma the leader.
