Oklahoma City — Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb hosted the 16th Annual Small Business Day at the Capitol on Wednesday. Lamb, who serves on the Governor’s Cabinet as the Small Business Advocate, used Small Business Day to recognize three of Oklahoma’s successful small businesses. Ram Jack Systems of Ada, APSCO of Tulsa and GEFCO Inc. of Enid were awarded the Lieutenant Governor’s Small Business Award of Excellence.
Lamb said that “these businesses are just a few examples of what make our state great: Small businesses truly are the engine of our economy.”
According to the Small Business Administration, small businesses total over 97 percent of all Oklahoma’s employers.
“Oklahoma businesses of all sizes power our economy, but small businesses are the pistons that power the engine,” Lamb said.
