NORMAN — Norman based 1st Oklahoma Construction has been named a 2014 Innovator of the Year for its innovation in the construction industry. The company was honored at the 17th annual Innovator of the Year Awards held recently in Oklahoma City.
1st Oklahoma Construction, a privately owned company, was recognized for the creation of the Expediter 1st project management system.
Expediter 1st system is a cloud-based operation software capable of managing every step of the construction process. The system is accessible from any PC, tablet or smartphone with Internet access. All changes are made in real time.
“We are so honored to be named an Innovator of the Year,” said Ali Farzaneh president and CEO. “We truly think the Expeditor 1st system will make an impact in the construction industry.”
The Innovator of the Year Awards recognize entrepreneurs from around the state that exemplify an innovative spirit. This year’s group includes entrepreneurs from a diverse range of industries.
Additionally, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will recognize 1st Oklahoma Construction in June as a 2014 Dream Big Blue Ribbon Small Business of the Year.
