The BCGA gymnasts combined for an impressive 25 medals across their respective levels and age groups. The optional gymnasts (Levels 7-10) are in their first season with new girls head coach Christian Ivanov, a 2000 Olympian from Bulgaria. In her first season as a Level 9, Reagan Hemry, a home-schooled seventh grader from Norman, won the silver medal in the all-around and gold medals on uneven bars and balance beam. Juanita Glyckherr, a freshman at Yukon High School, won gold medals on balance beam and floor exercise and bronze medals on vault and in the all-around in Level 8/Age Group 4. Lauren Cullen, a freshman at Norman North High School, won gold medals on vault and balance beam in Level 8/Age Group 5. Jennifer Harry, an eighth grader at Cimmaron Middle School in Edmond, won the all-around title, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise in Level 8/Age Group 3. She won the silver medal on vault. Her twin sister, Jessica Harry, made her season debut after suffering a leg injury last year. She competed uneven bars only and won the gold medal on that event in Level 7/Age Group 5. Anna Bishop, a sixth grader at Whittier Middle School in Norman, won the all-around, vault, balance beam and floor exercise gold medals in Level 7/Age Group 3. She won the silver medal on uneven bars. Amber Jones, a home-schooled seventh grader from Norman, won the gold medal in the uneven bars and silver medals in the all-around, vault, balance beam and floor exercise in Level 7/Age Group 4. Lyndee Tofpi, a freshman at Norman North High School, won gold medals in the vault and balance beam and the silver medal in the all-around in Level 7/Age Group 5. The Bart Conner gymnastics team next competes March 14-15 in Edmond. The state championships for Levels 7-10 is March 30-31 in Oklahoma City.
