Camps
•T-Wolves on the diamond
Norman North High School will host the 5th Annual Norman All-Star Baseball Camps June 1-6. The first camp is for ages 8 and up and will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 1-5. Cost is $140, which includes lunch.
Camp No. 2 will be for ages 8 and under will be held June 4-6 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Cost is $60. For more information contact coach Brian Aylor at 517-7727 or by e-mail at baylor@norman.k12.ok.us.

•Tigers camp on tap
The Norman Tiger Hoops Camp will be held at Norman High School on June 1- 4. Individual instruction camp for third through sixth grade will be in the mornings from 9 a.m. Noon while camp for seventh through ninth graders will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p,m. the shooting camp will be held the following week, June 8-11. It runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m, for any student in grades third through ninth.

•North hoop camps
The Norman North boys basketball camp will run from 8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. June 8-12 and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 15-18. The first week is the day camp and the second week is a shooting camp.
Cost is $75 for either a single session or $130 for both combined sessions. Enrollment forms can be picked up at North. For additional information contact Butch Roberts at 360-6032 or 650-8169.

•Lady T-Wolves host camp
The Norman North girls basketball summer camp will run from 8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. June 1-4 at Norman North. North coach Jeff Blough will focus the camp on teaching fundamentals of passing, ball handling, shooting form, technique, defense and developing a love for the game.
Cost is $70. Those who enroll by May 22 will receive a T-shirt. Enrollment forms can be picked up at North. For additional information contact Blough at 413-9336.

•SaberCat camp is next month
The Southmoore Lady SaberCat Basketball Camp is set for 9 a.m. to noon June 1-5 at the Southmoore High gymnasium.
SaberCat coach Mark Harmon and his staff will teach girls in sixth through ninth grades to improve ball handling skills, overall basketball fundamentals on offense and defense with individual instruction. Cost for each camper is $75. That includes T-shirt and prizes that will be awarded through competitive activities.

Golf
•NHS to host Tee-Off
The Norman High boys soccer team will host the Tiger Tee-Off, a scramble golf tournament Monday, May 18 at The Trails. Registration is set for 11 a.m. Lunch will follow. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams, along with closest to the pin, longest drive and other door prizes. Entry fee is $400 per four person team. Sponsorship is also available from $100 to $500. For more information, call Brett Bowers at 360-6501.

•Clinic set at Westwood
Westwood Park Golf Course is offering a junior golf clinic beginning Wednesday May 13 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and will be available to the first 30 entrants, from the ages of 6 to 17, May 13, May 20 and May 27.
The three lessons will be taught by David Lisle (PGA), Bobby Florer (assistant pro), Rick Parish (PGA), Amber Loeffelholz (LPGA), Dennis Etter (Norman North Golf Coach) and Craig Ruiz (Community Christian School Golf Coach). The first class will cover the fundamentals of putting, and the next two classes will teach the mechanics of chipping and full swing. Cost is f $10 a lesson or $30 for the entire clinic.

Cycling
• Weekly rides set
The Bicycle League of Norman’s weekly rides have started back up. The Tuesday night rides begin at 6 p.m. at Brookhaven Village. Thursday night rides begin at 6 p.m. at Reaves Park. The club’s Norman Conquest is set for July 18.
