The Norman North girls basketball summer camp will run from 8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. June 1-4 at Norman North. North coach Jeff Blough will focus the camp on teaching fundamentals of passing, ball handling, shooting form, technique, defense and developing a love for the game.

•SaberCat camp is next month

The Southmoore Lady SaberCat Basketball Camp is set for 9 a.m. to noon June 1-5 at the Southmoore High gymnasium.

SaberCat coach Mark Harmon and his staff will teach girls in sixth through ninth grades to improve ball handling skills, overall basketball fundamentals on offense and defense with individual instruction. Cost for each camper is $75. That includes T-shirt and prizes that will be awarded through competitive activities.

•NHS to host Tee-Off

The Norman High boys soccer team will host the Tiger Tee-Off, a scramble golf tournament Monday at The Trails. Registration is set for 11 a.m. Lunch will follow. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place teams, along with closest to the pin, longest drive and other door prizes.
