NORMAN — An Oklahoma City teen was charged Wednesday after he allegedly snuck into his ex-girlfriend’s home with the intent to commit assault and battery, court records show.

Matthew Tyler Warren, 18, was charged with first-degree burglary in Cleveland County District Court. The incident occurred March 23, according to court records.

Warren allegedly entered his 17-year-old ex-girlfriend’s home in Moore through an unlocked front window without permission from the homeowner or any of the occupants inside, the affidavit filed with the charge said.

Once Warren was inside, he waited for the girl to go into her bedroom and assaulted her, the document says.

“The defendant (Warren) struck the juvenile victim in the forehead with his (forehead), causing a red mark on her forehead,” the affidavit said.

The juvenile victim’s mother then made Warren leave the residence, according to the document.

The case has been assigned to District Judge Tracy Schumacher.
