Police ask for help identifying robbers

NORMAN — The Norman Police Department responded to an armed robbery that occurred at Check ’n Go, 1233 Alameda St., at 11:22 a.m. Thursday.

Upon arrival, officers determined that two male suspects, one of them brandishing a knife, entered the business and demanded money from the cash registers. 

The suspects obtained an undetermined amount of money and fled from the scene on foot.

Both suspects are described as being Hispanic males. One suspect is described as being in his mid to late 20s, approximately 5 foot 8 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, wearing a white hoodie, a red baseball cap and black pants.

The second suspect is described as being in his mid 30s to early 40s, approximately 5 foot 11 inches to 6 foot 2 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 to 190 pounds, wearing a dark gray hoodie and blue jeans. 

No one was injured during the robbery. The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating. Anyone who recognizes the suspects should call Detective Brett Willer at 217-7742 or Crime Stoppers at 366-7867.
