NORMAN —

“After a lengthy manhunt, Shaw was found hiding on the third floor of the Norman Regional Healthplex,” the affidavit said.

Capt. Tom Easley said an employee in the Healthplex noticed something was not quite right with the individual when they contacted authorities. Shaw was taken into custody without incident.

The passenger of the vehicle was apprehended by police immediately and had an arrest warrant in another jurisdiction, Easley said. The passenger was identified as Tejavon Mask, 24, of Midwest City.

Teen charged with robbery

A Norman teen was charged with robbery by force or fear Thursday after the victim identified him in a photo lineup, records show.

Immanuel Taneil Wharry, 19, was allegedly involved in a robbery Feb. 22 in the 1300 block of Glen Oaks Drive. The victim reported he had been assaulted, and his cell phone, headphones and a hat was taken from his person, according to the affidavit.

The victim identified one of the suspects but didn’t know the name of the second suspect at the time of initial contact. The victim was transported to Norman Regional Hospital for treatment of injuries he sustained from the robbery, the affidavit said.

The next day, the victim told police he found out the name of the second suspect and later identified him in a photo lineup with pictures of six different individuals.
