NORMAN — Norman police investigated a two-vehicle wreck Wednesday morning that flipped a sedan onto its back.
The mid-morning rollover occurred at the intersection of Porter Avenue and Frank Street. Norman police said Isaac Gene Simpson, 31, of Holdenville, was pulling out from a private drive at Sonic restaurant when another vehicle traveling southbound on Porter collided with Simpson’s vehicle.
The second vehicle, driven by Zackary David Neely, 20, of Norman, flipped on its top and slid down the roadway, police said. No injuries were reported at the scene.
Simpson was issued two citations — one for failure to yield from a private drive and one for driving under suspension. Neely has not received any citations.
Police said the accident is still under investigation.
