NORMAN — The man who died at the scene of Sunday afternoon’s wreck near Alameda Drive and Oliphant Avenue was identified by police Monday as Billy R. Henson, 52, of Moore.

Preliminary investigation of the collision indicated that a 2008 Ford F-150 truck was traveling eastbound on Alameda Drive when it turned toward a private drive in front of Henson’s westbound 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The driver of the F-150 was identified as Eric Arciga Fretz, 18, of Norman. Fretz and one passenger of the truck were not injured, but a second passenger reported minor injuries that did not require immediate treatment.

No other vehicles or persons were involved in the wreck.

Alameda Drive was closed for about four hours while the scene was investigated and cleared. The collision remains under investigation by the Norman and OU Police Collision Investigation Reconstruction Team.

Funeral services for Henson are pending with Moore Funeral and Cremation.
