Two suspects charged with first degree murder

NORMAN — Two men were charged with first degree murder Thursday for allegedly stabbing an Oklahoma City woman to death in her Cleveland County home last year.

Harvey Randall Wilson, 56, of Oklahoma City and Bryson Imkah Baker, 18, were both charged with conspiracy to commit murder and first degree murder with deliberate intent in concert and together with one another.

Records do not show where Baker is from although his last known address was in Yukon, according to an arrest warrant.

Wilson was apparently the ex-bofriend of the homicide victim, 57-year-old Shelia Stanley, according to an affidavit and arrest warrant filed with the charges.

A witness who contacted police after the homicide, stated that on November 24, 2012 Wilson had talked about wanting to kill Stanley.

Stanley’s body was found nearly two weeks later on December 8, 2012 during a welfare check by Oklahoma City Police .

“Wilson advised he wanted to have Shelia Stanley injected with high doses of ‘ice’ (crystal methamphetamine) and Wilson asked the witness if they knew someone who deals ice,” the document stated in reference to what the witness told police.

The witness said Wilson’s daughter said she knew someone who dealt “ice” and then contacted Bryson Baker, who came to the house to speak with Wilson for a “long period of time”.

The witness then said their plan was for Wilson to be in Lawton and on camera during the time of the murder because of a prior criminal case against Stanley in which Wilson was the victim, the document stated.

On February 15, Wilson contacted detectives to give them information on a “possible suspect” who turned out to be Baker. Wilson told detectives Baker had been living with him around the time of the homicide and he became suspicious of him selling drugs so he decided to look through his personal property.
