NORMAN — Arvest Bank in Moore robbed
The Oklahoma City Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation announced Monday that they believe the same man involved in an Oklahoma City and Edmond bank robbery also robbed a Moore bank on Saturday.
Arvest Bank, 2100 S. Sante Fe Ave. in Moore, and Midfirst Bank, 7403 S. Penn in Oklahoma City, were both robbed Saturday, and the same man was believed to have robbed ONB Bank in Edmond two days prior.
According to a press release sent out by FBI regarding the ONB Bank, the suspect was described as a white male in his mid 40s with light brown hair, a pony tail and mustache. He was approximately 6 feet tall, 220 pounds and had a medium build.
The man was wearing a black Nike jacket with an Oklahoma State logo and dark jeans during the June 5 robbery of ONB Bank. He was carrying a semi-automatic pistol.
The Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a bank.
Anyone with information is requested to contact the FBI at 290-7700. Callers may remain anonymous.
