NORMAN — A Moore man was charged Monday after police found heroin in excess of one kilogram and about a half ounce of cocaine after performing a consent search last week.
Casey Clay Spears, 28, was charged with trafficking in illegal drugs and unlawful possession of controlled drugs with intent to distribute in Cleveland County District Court.
Agents also found packaging, scales, cell phones and balloons inside Spears’ apartment at 9516 S. Shields Blvd. that were used in the distribution of narcotics, according to the affidavit filed with charges.
Spears admitted to purchasing the heroin and cocaine that was in his living room.
A large amount of heroin also was found in a safe in Spears’ bedroom, the affidavit said. Spears’ Social Security Card and student ID also were found in the safe.
