NORMAN — A Lexington woman was charged Wednesday for selling or furnishing an alcoholic beverage to a minor after Lexington police performed a compliance check at a local gas station.
Police arrested Lisa Dawn Hall, 42, on Friday after officers sent a minor into Gas & Go, 326 W. Broadway, with a marked $20 bill to purchase alcohol, according to the probable cause affidavit filed with the felony charge.
A Lexington officer was in the gas station in plain clothes to witness the transaction that took place. The minor went into the store and purchased a six pack of Keystone Light and then gave a description of the clerk who sold the alcohol, the affidavit said.
Hall was then placed under arrest and was taken to the police department to be booked in and transported to Cleveland County Detention Center, records show.
