NORMAN — Norman police said two individuals transported to OU Medical Center on Monday were in stable condition after a rollover wreck near Flood Avenue and Nebraska Street.
The two individuals in serious condition were in a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer traveling eastbound on Nebraska Street when the vehicle failed to stop or yield at the stop sign.
The trailblazer was then struck by a northbound 2006 Ford Taurus, causing the trailblazer to roll over.
The driver of the trailblazer was identified as Martha Morrison, 74, of Norman, and the passenger was a 15-year-old Norman female.
The driver of the Ford was identified as Tonya Johnson, 51, of Norman, who was also transported to Norman Regional Hospital. A 15-year-old Norman girl also was in the Ford vehicle.
Police said the speed of the vehicles did not appear to be excessive or a significant contributing factor to the cause of the collision.
