NORMAN — A two-vehicle accident left one injured around noon on Tuesday near Gray Street and Peters Avenue.
Norman police Capt. Tom Easley said one of the drivers had non-incapacitating injuries and was transported by a private vehicle for treatment. The collision report shows that both vehicles were westbound on Gray Street when a collision occurred in the center lane, Easley said.
The collision sent one of the vehicles across railroad ties and took out a couple trees in a small park area behind a local bank. The other vehicle remained on the roadway, he said.
No other injuries were reported and no citations were issued.
