Other charges he was convicted of included attempting to elude police, possession of a firearm, attempted robbery by force or fear, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, knowingly concealing stolen property and embezzlement.
Blackwood also had an enhancement page filed with his murder charge, but none of the charges involved violence. He was previously convicted of or pled guilty to several drug charges, driving a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and knowingly concealing stolen property.
Lansdale’s trial was scheduled a week after the original date set for Blackwood’s trial.
Court records show that Lansdale’s trial is set for 11 a.m. Monday in Judge Schumacher’s courtroom.
