Police release identity of body found at Norman intersection

NORMAN — The body found April 26 near the intersection of 60th Avenue northwest and Rock Creek Road has been identified as Randy C. Switch Jr., 29. Switch’s last known address was in Midwest City.

Norman Police Capt. Tom Easley said investigators have not determined how the man’s body appeared in the road.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has yet to determine cause and manner of death.

Based on evidence found at the scene, Norman Police investigators believe the automobile involved in the incident may be a Ford Transit.

The vehicle is likely white in color and may have sustained damage to the right front and/or underside of the vehicle.
