NORMAN — FBI agents are searching for a woman after she attempted to rob a bank in southeast Norman on Friday.
Authorities said the woman went into Arvest Bank, 1355 W. Lindsey Street, around 6 p.m. Friday, went outside and then returned, handing a note to the teller demanding money. She left the bank on foot without any money.
Agents said she was last seen walking east on Lindsey Street. She is described as a black woman in her late 20s or early 30s, 5 foot 8 inches to 5 foot 10 inches and weighing around 200 to 240 pounds. She was wearing a ball cap, dark sunglasses and a gray University of Oklahoma hoodie during the incident.
Authorities believe the woman also robbed the Bison Federal Credit Union in Shawnee on Sept. 9.
Anyone with information about the woman or the robbery can call the FBI at 405-290-7770.
