NORMAN — Norman police are seeking information on a good Samaritan who lent assistance to an injured skateboarder recently.
At approximately 5:30 p.m. Oct. 7, a 14-year-old male was riding his skateboard in the area of Boyd Street and Sunrise Street. At some point, the skateboarder suffered an injury.
The teen was dropped off at a friend’s house, just north of that area, by an unknown white male. The injured skateboarder has no recollection of what happened or how he got to his friend’s house. When the man dropped off the skateboarder, the teen did not ask the man who he was or what had happened.
The 14-year-old was eventually taken to the hospital by a parent. He had a broken clavicle and a concussion.
Det. John Barbour is looking for any assistance in identifying the man who assisted the 14-year-old or anyone who witnessed what happened. Call Barbour at 366-5440 with any information.
