Ira Elizabeth Monnett Evatt, 96, died Thursday, May 8, at her home in Wayne.?She was born Oct. 23, 1911, in Lexington to Oscar and Lucille (Elkin) Monnett.?
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband?Lee Wayne?Evatt.?
She is survived by sons Dan Evatt and Jim Evatt; grandchildren Aric, Patrick, Amanda and Katie Evatt; great-grandchildren Rachel and Laurel; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.?
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell.?Memorial donations may be made to Wayne United Methodist Church.
