'Bill' Maynard The Norman Transcript James William "Bill" Maynard, 92, of Purcell died Tuesday, May 13, at the Purcell Municipal Hospital.?Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Purcell.
He was born April 1, 1916, in Hester to Jacob Burse Maynard and Martha Louisa Cassell Maynard.? He is survived by his wife Nadine; sons Jerry Maynard?Gary Maynard; sister Della Melton; sister-in-law Barbara Maynard; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins?and friends. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.?Memorials may be made to the Purcell First Baptist Church Building Fund.
