NORMAN — The remnants of this winter’s double slam of snow and ice should be mostly clear by the time the Norman Christmas Day parade begins at 10 a.m. Saturday at Norman High School, 911 W. Main St.
The forecast calls for scattered sunshine Saturday. Sure it will be cold, but it’ll be a great morning for hot chocolate and blankets on the tailgate.
Allen Morain, longtime Norman businessman, will serve as grand marshal of this year’s parade. Chairman Ed Copelin promises bands, floats, horses and, of course, Santa, in this year’s parade, which heads east on Main Street from the high school.
Beforehand, Norman Kiwanis will flip pancakes at the Norman High School Commons from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
We’ll see you there.
