NORMAN — Norman Public Schools will host its annual Teacher Job Fair from 3 to 5:30 p.m. March 27 at the Nancy O’Brian Center for Performing Arts at Norman North High School, 1809 Stubbeman Ave.
Every school in the district will participate in the job fair, with principals receiving resumes and conducting interviews in individual locations within the facility.
Additionally, NPS personnel staff will be on hand to greet, answer questions and distribute information packets about the district to prospective candidates.
“With teacher shortages statewide in several areas, we hope this year’s NPS Job Fair is well attended and that we have the opportunity to showcase to quality candidates why NPS is a quality employer,” said Shelly Hickman, NPS communications and community relations director.
Attendance at the Job Fair isn’t a requirement for individuals to be offered a position. However, the job fair provides an opportunity for interested candidates to become familiar with the district and for administrators to become familiar with individuals interested in working at their schools.
