MNTC Engineering Technician Program taking enrollments

NORMAN — Moore Norman Technology Center is accepting enrollments in a part-time Engineering Technician Program that begins in September.

The class provides students a broad base of math, science and engineering fundamentals, also while preparing students to participate in small group activities, produce online assignments and perform in a skills lab.

Interviews for engineering technician-based internships may be available to students who complete this program. Some course curriculum topics include computer applications, print reading, computer aided design, machining, basic electronics and mechanical and electrical principles.

Those interested in the Engineering Technician Program must be 18 years old and meet with an MNTC career advisor to begin the process.
