School board to vote on bond election resolution

NORMAN — After reviewing information about recommended 2014 bond projects, the Norman Public Schools Board of Education will take action and vote on a resolution authorizing a special election to vote on the issuance of proposed bond projects at a regular school board meeting 5 p.m. Monday at Norman City Council chambers.

The resolution authorizing a bond election would propose the election for Feb. 11. Recommended bond projects in the resolution include bonds in the sum of $122,500,000 for building and equipment projects and bonds in the sum of $3,500,000 for transportation equipment.
