The Eta Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma will meet 6 p.m. Tuesday at Eisenhower Elementary, 1415 Fairlawn Dr. Deputy Kim Lopez with the Cleveland County Sheriff's department will present a program on personal safety and identity theft. Dinner of soup and dessert will be served with donations for the soup going to the chapter scholarship fund. Central Oklahoma Marine Aquarium Society
The Central Oklahoma Marine Aquarium Society's annual membership drive is 7:30 p.m. Saturday at UCO. Over $2000 in prizes will be awarded.
COMAS is an organization dedicated to educating and helping fellow reef and marine fish enthusiasts across the state. Annual membership is $25. You do not have to be a member to attend COMAS meetings or to use the forum. For more information go to www.mycomas.com .
Members have access to a saltwater reference library, with options for discounts at local stores or coral fragment swapping programs.
Cleveland County Genealogical Society
The Cleveland County Genealogical Society will meet 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, in the CSBI classroom at 12th Avenue NE and E. Main Street, in Norman. Guest speaker will be Dr. Charles Anderson who will discuss his experience in learning about the history of his house on Chautauqua Avenue. Use the south entrance from parking lot Number 4. Visitors are welcome.
Norman Women's Connection
All area women are invited to join Norman Women's Connection for a luncheon noon Jan. 15 at 809 Wall St.
The theme for this luncheon is "Wellness '08." Virginia Geurkink, a certified personal trainer, will focus on "wellness for the body" by giving tips for getting in shape this year. Billie Segler will provide insight about "wellness for the soul and spirit." She will share how she learned to find joy in the midst of sadness and tragedy.
Cost of the program is $7.50 inclusive. Reservations are required, and may be made by calling Janet at 364-6445, or Gwen at 364-4034, or by e-mail to normanwomenconnection@yahoo.com. Make or cancel reservations no later than Sunday.

The Norman Hi-Noon Business and Professional Women meet noon the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 300 W. Comanche St., second floor.
Speaker Wednesday will be the county officers for the Cleveland County 4-H program. They will speak to the group about their experiences in and the benefits of that organization.

Norman Parents Helping Parents
Norman Parents Helping Parents (www.parentshelpingparents.info) is spearheading a six part series devoted to educating parents and the community about the issues surrounding adolescent alcohol/drug abuse. The upcoming session (fourth in the series) focuses on what to do when you see signs of trouble. Panelists include John Bureman from NAIC/Center for Oklahoma Alcohol and Drug Services, Linda Stokes from the Parent as Coach Program and Deborah Friant from the Youthful Drunk Driving Program. The information presented at these meetings is beneficial to parents, community leaders, and all who care about our teens and young adults.
