Norman Women's Connection
All area women are invited to join Norman Women's Connection for a luncheon noon April 15 at 809 Wall St. Theme for the month is "Makeovers: Inside and Out."
Music will be provided by vocalist and recent OCU music school graduate Chad Khoury. After the music, Cleveland County Horticulturist Tracey Payton will provide backyard makeover and planting tips. Then Robin Khoury, humorist cosmetologist, will entertain the club with "From Beauty School Bloopers to an Extreme Makeover." She will share her makeover experience from the "inside-out."

Norman Galaxy of Writers
Agi Lurtz will talk on how to build a successful Web site 10 a.m. Saturday at the Norman Public Library. Lurtz is the owner of Esotech, a company that offers Web design. Norman Galaxy is an affiliate of the Oklahoma Writers Federation, Inc. Meetings are open to the public. For more information of meetings and membership, call 321-8834.

Second Stage Players
The Second Stage Players, a senior theatre group, will meet 1-3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Depot. New members welcome. No dues, no memorization. For more information, call 364-8516.

Ex Libris Book Club
The Ex Libris Book Club will meet 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 1601 W. Imhoff Road. Carol Headrick from Stillwater will be the reviewer. Refreshments will be served at 9:30 and the book review begins at 10. Sign up for the May luncheon will be at the April meeting. Dues for next year are also payable now. Asian-American Christian Speakers Toastmasters
The Asian-American Christian Speakers will meet 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday in the Lowery Room at the Norman Public Library, 225 N. Webster Ave.
The Division K Contest will be April 12 at Nino's Mexican Restaurant, 7220 S. Western Ave., Oklahoma City.

Norman Women Entrepreneurs Network
The Norman Women Entrepreneurs Network will meet 7 a.m. Wednesday at Fancy That, 215 E. Main St. Kim Lopez of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office is the guest speak and she will discuss women's safety. The five minute member commercial will be presented by Peggy Doviak of D.M. Central Oklahoma Water Garden Society, Inc.
The Central Oklahoma Water Garden Society, Inc. will meet 7 p.m. Thursday. Desserts will be shared and garden pond ideas and problems will be discussed. Membership is free and visitors are welcome.

McFarlin Bonus Years
Gary Gray, Ed. D, author of the book "Mr. Presidents" will return to McFarlin Bonus Years at Fenn Hall McFarlin United Methodist Church 10:30 a.m. Wednesday as the father of our country, George Washington. District 10 convention will be May 10 in Norman at the Legion Hall and Post 4890 will be the host with STTE Commander John Petras. Members will be asked for their help in organizing the meeting and a lunch to be served.

Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma
The Norman Noble Service Unit of Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma will host an abbreviated Daisy/Brownie program 1:30-3 p.m. Saturdays during the month of April at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. Activities including singing, games, crafts, refreshments and a Girl Scout pinning ceremony.
Daisies is for girls in kindergarten and Brownies is for girls in grades 1-3. The cost of $12 per girl includes GSUSA membership, insurance, a GS pin and snacks. Financial assistance is available, and no girl will be denied membership. Girls will be eligible to attend Day Camp at Reeves Park June 2-6.

Daytime Grief Support Group
Heartland Hospice and Rambling Oaks Assisted Living are partnering together to offer a daytime grief support group 3 p.m. Thursdays at Rambling Oaks, 1060 Rambling Oaks Dr.
The group will be led Heartland Hospice Bereavement Coordinator Shae Keen and Chaplain Harry Smith.

Embroiderers' Guild
of America
Anyone interested in embroidery in any of its many forms is invited to become a part of the Norman Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America. The evening group meets 7 to 9 p.m. the second Monday and the day group meets 1 to 3 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month. Meetings are in Room 401 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. Norman Area Iris Society

Sweet Adelines International

NAMI
National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Cleveland County, A United Way member agency, support groups for families of individuals with a mental illness meets the first Tuesday of each month. Mental health educational sessions are held every third Tuesday.

Taize Style Service meets 7-8 p.m. the second Tuesday of every month in the Sanctuary of McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church and will focus on year-round worship with seasonal emphases and expanded visual centered around the Altar.
Norman Campus Bridge

Partners of Hope
A group providing support for parents and caregivers of children with emotional and behavioral health disorders meets 6 p.m. the fourth Tuesday of every month at Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center's Child and Family Services, 1120 E.
