Delta Kappa Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha meets Monday at the Norman Chamber of Commerce, 115 E. Gray St.
Convention chairwoman Janice Shockley will present plans for this year's state convention.

Norman Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club
The Norman Pi Beta Phi Alumnae Club meets noon Monday at the home of Tracie McCaskill, 1612 Old Farm Road.
All Norman Pi Phi alumnae are welcome to attend for fun, food and friendship.

Norman Lions Club
The Norman Lions Club meets 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday in Alexander Hall of First Presbyterian Church, 555 University Blvd.
The program features "The Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, A Success Story" with Dr. Jeanette King, Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank director, and Norman resident Kathy Schemmer.?High school and international students of the month will be introduced.

Daughters of the American Revolution
The Norman Black Beaver chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution meets 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, 235 W. Duffy St.
Dr. Marianne Ingels Bachrach will talk about "The World Trade Center Response Team."

Norman Campus Bridge Club
The Norman Campus Bridge Club, in cooperation with the Sooner Unit of the American Contract Bridge League, offers free beginning lessons Tuesdays starting 7 p.m. Tuesday in the University of Oklahoma Memorial Student Union.
Eric Sieg, junior computer science major, will lead the class. All ages are welcome and no previous experience is required.

Norman Women Entrepreneurs Network
The Norman Women Entrepreneurs Network meets 7 a.m. Wednesday at Jimmy's Round--Up Caf?, 814 N. Berry Road.
Peggy Doviak of P.M. Wealth Management will discuss "Financial Planning NOW: Your Future is Closer Than You Think." The member of the month is Betty Mitchell of Betty Lou's Flowers and Gifts.

Grandparents or Relatives as Second Parents
Grandparents or Relatives as Second Parents, a support group for grandparents or relatives raising children other than their own, meets 7 to 8:15 p.m. Thursday at CrossPointe Church at the corner of State Highway 9 and 24th Avenue Southeast.

American Business Women's Association
The Norman chapter of the American Business Women's Association invites women to feel the camaraderie between other women in Norman's workforce while enjoying refreshments and shopping during its fall enrollment event 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10 in the OEC building, 242 NW 24th Ave.
Booths of women-owned and women-oriented businesses will vary from insurance and home improvement to cosmetics, jewelry and houseware. The businesses that have confirmed participation include Pampered Chef, Genworth Financial, Arbonne, Endeavor Homes, The Jewelry Store, Pure Romance and Home and Garden. New to the event will be Aisle 7, Christina's Consignment, Mama D's and Happy Cat Yarn Co.
Keith Gordon will present "Going A.P.E.," a speech on why attitude, passion and enthusiasm are critical to success.

Military Officers of America Association
The Norman chapter of the Military Officers of America Association meets 6:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the University Club in the University of Oklahoma Memorial Student Union.
After dinner, Deputy Kim Lopez of the Cleveland County Sheriff's Department will present a program on preventing ID theft and protecting assets from frauds and scams.
This information particularly is important with regard to theft of a computer containing names, social security numbers and birthdates of millions of veterans.
All members of MOAA and all active and retired commissioned and warrant officers of the uniformed services are invited and encouraged to attend.?Registration will begin at 6:30 p.m. with social hour. Dinner will be 7 p.m. followed by the presentation. Cost for the evening, including dinner, is $13. Make reservations with Terry Raison at 329-2231.
