The sale will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the dealership, east of Interstate 35 at exit 104. Floyd's plans second benefit sale Transcript Staff After a successful fundraising garage sale earlier this month, Floyd's RV will have an encore performance.
The sale will be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the dealership, east of Interstate 35 at exit 104. All of the proceeds from this weekend's sale will go to fund scholarships for Washington High School seniors and to benefit the new Goldsby Veterans Memorial. "We sold a million items, we have a half-million left," store owner Rex Floyd said. Those numbers are an exaggeration, but he said there will be more than 5,000 items out at this weekend's sale. In addition to some things left over from the first sale Oct. 2-3, there will be a good number of items that were not part of that sale. For more information, call 288-2355.
