South Canadian Cross-Timbers Corral of the Westerners
Don Reeves, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, will speak on "Evil Wears a Black Hat: Today's Malevolent Imagery as Influenced by B-Westerns and Dime Novels" 7 p.m. today at the Charles M. Russell Center, University of Oklahoma in the old Faculty Club.

Sons of the American Revolution

Cleveland-McClain County Retired Educators Association
Cleveland-McClain County Retired Educators recognize Nov. 16-22 as American Education Week. Each year, the members celebrate the week in various ways and this year it will honor veterans at the Norman Veterans Center.
Members will host a reception 10 a.m. Wednesday at the center.

Alzheimer's Support Group
The Alzheimer's Support Group will meet 1:45 a.m. Wednesday in Room 209 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church. Staff from Full Circle Senior Adult Day Center Inc., will discuss its purpose and history.

Cleveland County Genealogical Society
Sharron Standifer Ashton will speak on "What's New and What's Hidden -- an exploration of new and lesser known resources at the Oklahoma History Center's Research Room" 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in the CSBI Classroom at East Main Street and 12th Avenue NE. Use the south entrance from parking lot 4.

Friends of Lake Thunderbird

Norman Women's Connection
The annual auction fundraiser is noon-1:30 p.m. Tuesday at 809 Wall St. Patty Ridenour of Oklahoma City will speak on overcoming insecurity and finding direction in life. Bring donated auction items by 11 a.m. Silent bidding will begin at 11:30.

Sweet Adelines International
