NORMAN — The Purcell Daddy Daughter Dance, originally scheduled for this weekend, has been postponed from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 15. The dance still will be at the Purcell Public Schools Administration Building, 919 1/2 N. 9th St. (adjacent to the library).
Officials from the Purcell Public Library and Purcell Public Schools made the decision Tuesday morning after looking over the forecast for several more waves of snow, ice and cold to move into the area later in the week.
Dads and daughters are encouraged to dress up and enjoy dancing, snacks, a photo booth and more entertainment at the dance.
A few tickets are left. The event is free, but so as many families as possible can enjoy the event, there is a limit of six tickets per adult for the event. Guests must have their tickets in hand at the door to gain entry.
Registration may be completed at the library or online through justsoyouknow.us/purcell. Tickets will be available at the library for pickup after registration has been completed.
For more information, visit the library, call 527-5546 or visit the website.
