ESA members meet in Norman

NORMAN — Members of District IV of the Oklahoma State Council of Epsilon Sigma Alpha, Int’l (ESA) hosted their final meeting of the year in Norman at the Goodrich Methodist Church.

Members of Delta Kappa Chapter in Norman were hostesses for the meeting March 1.

Lora Thompson, chaplain, conducted a ceremony in memory of Dorothy Ramsey, Beta Mu, of Lawton, Estaline Jordan, Beta Rho, of Del City, and Pat Langdon, Delta Kappa, of Norman, who died last year.

District IV coordinator Robbin Brown, Zeta Gamma, of Shawnee, conducted the meeting and the election of officers.

Dr. Billye Peterson, state second vice president and educational director of the state council, presented a workshop on scarf making out of old T-shirts.

Peterson also installed the new officers as follows: district IV coordinator Linda Leveridge, Delta Kappa, of Norman; vice coordinator Nancy Baucom, Beta Mu, of Lawton; recording secretary, Schlunda Leslie, Beta Mu, of Lawton; treasurer Judy Montgomery, Zeta Epsilon, of Seminole; Billie Linville, Delta Epsilon, of Del City.

Members brought paper goods for the Greiner School for the handicapped in Lawton. Members voted to continue the project into the next year.
