NORMAN — Miss Lilly McAfee, 10, has been chosen as a state finalist in the National American Miss Oklahoma Pageant to be June 28 to 29 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Norman. The National American Miss pageants are held for girls ages 4 to 18 and have five different divisions. Lilly will be participating in the pre-teen age division, along with other outstanding young ladies across Oklahoma.
The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses and air transportation to compete in the National Pageant in California where she will receive an exciting complimentary tour of Hollywood and two VIP tickets to Disneyland.
Ms. Lilly’s acitivities include basketball, softball, vocal, dance, homework, chores and having fun. She also enjoys singing with the Oklahoma Baptist Childrens Chorus, playing with her twin sister Shelby McAfee and can’t wait until summer.
