NORMAN — Norman Addiction Information & Counseling (NAIC), a United Way of Norman partner, is kicking off a leadership training series called L.E.A.D.: Leading with Love, Excellence, Attitude and Dedication at its agency.
The four part series is appropriate for professionals from any field who desire to enhance and develop leadership skills. The four sessions in April and May, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., include: “Creating a Culture of Leadership,” April 19; “From Flip Flops to Fancy Suits: Generational Leadership,” April 26; “Filling the Bucket at the Workplace,” May 17; and “SOS: Communicating Our Story in the community,” May 24.
The trainers are Jan Astani and Byron Jackson. Astani is a speaker, trainer and writer in the areas of dynamic self-improvement, generational leadership, creativity, ethics, marketing/public relations and team building. Jackson is a training and facilitation specialist from Possibilities Inc. with more than 30 years of working with groups locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.
Registration is $45 in advance or $55 at the door. Participants can save by registering in advance for two or more sessions: $85 for two sessions, $125 for three sessions or $160 for all four sessions.
