NORMAN — Members of all faith communities and denominations are invited to St. Thomas More University Parish, 100 E. Stinson St., once a month for Sung Vespers.

Vespers are evening prayers during which the Christian faithful look back on the day and give thanks. Sung vespers include hymns and psalms.

The next Sung Vespers at St. Thomas More will be at 7 p.m. Thursday. Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the church, as well as the lots north and east of St. Thomas More.

Each month, a different choir and organist will provide the music. In October, the choir of Christ the King Catholic Church, under the direction of Edwin Day, will participate. Sung Vespers in November will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 7, with the choir of St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral, under the direction of Scott Raab, cannon musician.
