NORMAN — Heartland Home Health & Hospice is seeking volunteers.

Volunteer options include providing visits, helping with administrative and special office projects, helping with nursing home events and activities, running errands, caregiver relief sitting, working with the family bereavement program and more.

Volunteers may contribute as many or as few hours as they wish on a flexible schedule that meets their needs. Patients are located throughout the Greater Oklahoma City metro area.

“No matter what, when you volunteer with hospice, your soul will feel enriched. You will know that you have made a difference in the time you are there,” longtime Heartland volunteer, Robert Ferrier, said.

The next training class will be March 16 at the Heartland office in Norman. To request an application or for additional information, call Staci Elder Hensley, volunteer coordinator, at 579-8565 or 432-0346.
