Designers set for Show House

OKLAHOMA CITY — Keven Carl Design, Mister Robert Fine Furniture and Design and Theos Marketplace will participate in the 40th Symphony Show House that will be open to the public from May 4-19. The event will feature the work of 34 interior and landscape designers.

Titled “The Trio In The Abbey,” the 2013 Symphony Show House offers three newly constructed homes located in “The Abbey” — a subdivision of the Fairview Farm development at Northwest 150th and North Western in Edmond. The three homes will present different styles of architecture and design.

At 2,646 square feet, the first home has an “Italianate” plan with Mediterranean features and luxury trimmings including soaring ceilings, arched doorways and hand-scraped wood floors.

The second home is a traditional 4,208-square-foot dwelling with four bedrooms, a big-screen theater room and a master suite with a sitting area and spa bathroom.

The third home is contemporary in architecture and features 4,590 square feet with a full basement with a walk-in wine room and an outdoor living room with a gas fireplace.

The Symphony Show House is a fundraising project of the Oklahoma City Orchestra League that benefits music education and the OKC Philharmonic. Started in 1974, with the decorating and showing of a historic home at 7205 Nichols Road in Nichols Hills, the OCOL has raised more than $5 million in the 40 years of the annual project.

A complete history of the 40 homes is available at

Tickets are available online for $15 each. Discount tickets will be available at the OCOL offices and various retail locations throughout the metro. Visit the website for details.
