Library sets computer class schedule

NORMAN — The Norman Public Library has announced the schedule for its free computer classes for December.

Computer instruction takes place in the Computer Training Center of the library (unless otherwise noted) and is intended for beginners. Each class consists of verbal and visual instruction and includes guided practice through various activities.

Registration is required separately for each class and is available by calling 701-2697 or online at www.justsoyouknow.us/norman, under the computer class calendar.

The December schedule includes:

 

Computer use classes

Really Basic Personal Computer — 9:30-11:30 a.m. Tuesday

Computer Basics – 1-3 p.m. Wednesday

Basic Windows 7 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday

File Management – 1-3 p.m. Friday

Basic Word Processing using Microsoft Word, part 1 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 10

Cut, Copy and Paste using Microsoft Word, part 2 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 11

Shortcuts and Drawing Tools using Microsoft Word, part 3 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 12

Page Setup and Tables using Microsoft Word, part 4 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 13

Introduction to Microsoft Excel, part 1 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 19

Introduction to Microsoft Excel, part 2 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 20

Introduction to Microsoft Excel, part 3 – 9:30-11:30 a.m. Dec. 21

Holiday Greeting Cards – 6-8 p.m. Friday

E-Mail basics – 1-3 p.m. Dec. 10

Pinterest – 2-4 p.m. Dec. 11
